Fifty Two Ways to Pause Your Warming

FIFTY-TWO WAYS TO PAUSE YOUR WARMING

"The Earth will soon be dead" the Media said to me
"The answer is easy if you take it logically
We'd like to help you in your struggle to breathe free

There are fifty-two ways to pause your warming"
.
Gore said "It's pretty much my habit to intrude
No doubt my solutions will add cost and will be crude
But I'll repeat myself at the risk of being rude,
There must be fifty-two ways to pause your warming
Fifty-two ways to pause your warming"
.
You just fudge a chart, Hart
Start a new scam, Fran
You don't need to be right, Dwight
Just listen to me,
Hop on the global warming bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Only listen to me, Lee

Save yourself a tree
.
Ooo fire up my jet, Chet
Fly me to my Malibu house, Klaus,
You don't need to be right, Dwight
Just listen to me
Hop on the global warming bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Only listen to me, Lee

Save yourself a tree

A tip of the horn to Paul Simon for providing the musical inspiration for the post which follows...
.
I came across an article that I meant to comment on a few weeks ago, but as luck would have it, I was kidnapped by space aliens and spent several days 'off-planet' getting my inner-parts 'probed' in inappropriate, but nonetheless, memorable ways.
.
Actually, I made up the abduction 'thing' to get out of climbing ladders and painting the shutters on the second story of my home.  My wife didn't buy this veracity-challenged excuse (feel free to use the word 'lie' here) and she offered to check out my most 'darkest cavity' workings with metal 'things and lights' to see if they left any alien probes lying about whilst exploring my innards.  Knowing that she has a medical background with access to shiny, sharp and terribly frightening 'instruments' led me to my prompt response to her offer...
.
Two weeks later, I can honestly say, "Gosh those hunter green shutters really 'pop' now, especially when viewed from the street!  They look GREAT!!!"
.
Back in August I wrote a post called "Hot, Deep, and Wet" which explored one of the this year's reasons explaining the lack of measurable Global Warming on the planet (HINT:  Because all that heat moved into the Ocean for a multi-year vacation - and apparently it's not opposed to migrating from the Pacific to the Atlantic from time to time).  Someone over at the Daily Caller must have been paying attention because not only did they find this singular reason for Global Warming's Pause...
.
They found Fifty-One ADDITIONAL reasons which enlightened minds have expounded since January 1, 2014.  Yes, Fifty-Two Ways to Pause Your Warming.
.
Sing with me now...

.
There are Now 52 Explanations to Explain the Pause in Global Warming
.
It’s been a busy year for climate scientists, who have been trying to explain why there has been no global warming for nearly two decades.
.
The Daily Caller News Foundation reported in February there were eight mainstream explanations for the pause, but there are now a whopping 52 explanations for why there has been no warming trend for the last 215 months.
.
So what’s the latest explanation for why the Earth stopped warming? Europe’s Joint Research Center (JRC) says the hiatus in warming since 2001 is due to “a combination of a natural cooling phase, known as multidecadal variability (MDV), and a downturn of the secular warming trend.”
.
European Union scientists don’t know the exact what caused the “downturn of the secular warming trend,” but say “ the Earth hasn’t warmed at the same pace during the 20th century.” JRC researchers analyzed surface temperature records going back to 1850 to “separate natural variations from secular” ones.
.
Scientists discovered three hiatus periods in the temperature records — 1878 to 1907, 1945 to 1969 and 2001 to today — and concluded that these “hiatus periods coincide with natural cooling phases – the multidecadal variability (MDV), most likely caused by natural oceanic oscillations.”

.
...
.
“The Greenhouse Gas Bulletin shows that, far from falling, the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere actually increased last year at the fastest rate for nearly 30 years,” Jarraud warned. “We must reverse this trend by cutting emissions of CO2 and other greenhouse gases across the board. We are running out of time.”

.
But Jarraud’s warning comes after reports that there has been no global warming for the past 215 months, according to satellite data. Furthermore, recent research suggests the “pause” in warming could last another decade.
.
Some climate scientists who are skeptical of theories that man-made global warming will have catastrophic impacts, say increasing carbon dioxide levels should not be alarming.

..

.
It's seems odd to me that when you ask the 'smartest people on the planet' to explain WHY Global Warming is missing in action, a few of their reasons include:
.
.
For these, and Forty-Seven additional, Global Climate Change Pause theories, check out the following link:  Fifty-Two Explanations

With so many theories for the 'PAUSE' of man-made Global Warming / Climate Change, I wonder if the fundamentally-undeniable one is that man-made Global Climate Change is not actually happening.  Because if man-made Global Climate Change IS a valid scientifically-significant event, wouldn't there be a fool-proof mechanism to explain why it is, or is not happening?
 .
Back when the World was young and I could run fast (without breathing heavily), I learned about something called THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD.  This was a process by which people in white lab coats whom did, um, things called 'Scientific Studies following the Scientific Method'.
.
From a flow chart perspective, it looks something like this:
.

  .

Something tells me that the current crop of scientists supportive of theory of man-made Global Climate Change are jumping directly from the 'Propose Hypothesis' phase straight to the 'Develop Theory' conclusion in the process, and forgetting to loop back up to check their work.
  .

But I guess when you have so much invested in promoting the 'Theory of Climate Change' and you have staked your reputation on it, you do whatever you can to prove that yours is the ONLY plausible reason for what is going on with regard to our increasing (or maybe NOT so much increasing) temperatures.
  .

MY prediction for the upcoming weather pattern for the next six months?  Decreased temperatures, chance of cooling, shorter days, and increased chance of snow in Northern and Western parts of the Nation.  I say this not because I'm a scientist but rather because I've seen all this before.
  .

Kind of like when Time Magazine quoted scientists who predicted the Coming Ice Age waaaaay back in...   1977

  .

Like I said, you live long enough and you HAVE seen it all before.

  .

Oh, the other thing that ISN'T new is how people use the news to line their own pockets.

  .

You can call him Al.

Irony is a Dish Best Served... On Ice

.
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, December 29, 2013:  The Russian vessel, the M.V. Akademik Shokalskiy, which was stranded off the coast of Antarctica with 74 people onboard, remains stranded. Attempts were made by the Chinese icebreaker, Snow Dragon, and other Russian icebreakers, but the ice was too thick. Rescue crews hope to get to the stranded passengers soon.

.
...

.
The ship, the M.V. Akademik Shokalskiy, is waiting for emergency help—though help might take some time to come, given a blizzard that pummeled the area. The ship locked up in the ice on Christmas.

.
"The vessel hasn't moved in the last two days, and we're surrounded by sea ice," said Chris Turney, leader of the modern-day Australasian Antarctic Expedition, said in a video posted on Twitter. "We just can't get through..."
.
.

.
Hey, do you smell it too?  This, my friend, is the smell of smokin' hot irony, served icy cold on this December day.
.
Yes, the M.V. Akademik Shokalskiy is chocked full of scientists (and tourists?) retracing the route taken by the Mawson Expedition exploring...
.
The Antartic!
..
Yes, one hundred years after the original expedition, intrepid global-warming scientific investigators (and a crop of tourists with bitchin' blue parkas) armed with buckets of high-tech gear are trekking where 'pretty much' no one has gone before and scientifically prove that...
 .
Being stuck in the ice...  Sucks
.
Yes, you are correct.  They went looking for Global Warming and got, um, stuck in the ice.
.
Maybe it's just me - but I'm thinking that's kind of funny.
.
Not 'Watching-Nancy-Pelosi-trip-over-a-homeless-guy-on-the-way-to-her-next-Botox-treatment' funny, but just plain, 'Al-Gore-Predicts-the-Artic-will-be-ice-free-by-2013' funny.
.
You blue-parka-wearing scientists (and tourists?  Seriously? Tourists?!?!) MIGHT want to check out the Weather Channel.  Perhaps it would be a good investment of time prior to taking your 'Al-Gore-Arctic-Second-Hundred-Year-Mawson-Expedition-Anniversary-Fun-Cruise' next time around.
.
Although, in another hundred years from now, you'll most likely be able to walk in Bermuda Shorts and sandals across the Arctic - right Al?  Perhaps it'll all be paved and you'll be able to drive your Chevrolet Volts across the once-frigid ice pack.  (Pack a REALLY LONG electric cord prior to leaving home!)

.
Yeah, so these wack-jobs are stuck in the ice, THREE ice breakers have been sent to drag their butts out but...

.
The Ice is Too Thick
 .
Yeah.  The ice is just too dang thick.  A fourth ice breaker is heading there now, with a back-up plan of flying the explorers out by helicopter.
 .
So, waiting to be rescued, the ice-bound scientists are:
 .
  • Testing the salinity of the ocean (Assuming they can reach down to it)
.
  • Taking censuses of local bird populations
 .
  • Drilling into the ice to extract mineral data,
 .
  • Sending drones to map Antarctica's Commonwealth Bay, and,
 .
  • Tweeting, texting, and filming themselves 'cavorting about' because, quite frankly, they ran out of Scotch two days ago

 .

Bold and Mighty Global Warming scientists (and tourists), we salute you!
 .
 .

In keeping with today's 'Ironic Theme' let's close out today with a few snapshots provided by other documented 'fails'...

Seriously, You Cannot Win...

Here I sit, preparing to leave the office when I think to myself, "Self, maybe you should do a quick scan of current 'Weird News' to see if there'll be anything to post about tomorrow when you're off from work?"

Why wait till tomorrow for something you can do while your kids are at home starving???

So I scanned a site.  I WENT there.

And this is what I found when I arrived...

Environmental groups sue to block wind farm

But, I thought Wind Farms were...  GOOD?

Nah, wind farms USED to be good.

Now, to environmentalists (who REALLY care) power-generating wind mills are 'SPINNING WINGS OF DEATH'...

From the article:
Some conservationists have filed a federal lawsuit seeking to block the startup of Maryland's first industrial wind farm because it allegedly threatens federally protected Indiana bats.

The complaint filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Greenbelt seeks to stop Baltimore-based Constellation Energy Group Inc. from beginning operation of its 28 turbines on Backbone Mountain in Garrett County unless the company first obtains an "incidental take permit" from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for any Indiana bats that might be hit or injured by the spinning blades.

...
A similar lawsuit brought in the same Greenbelt court last year forced developers of a West Virginia wind project to reduce the number of planned turbines after the judge ruled that Indiana bats hibernating in the area almost certainly would be harmed by the blades. The West Virginia developer also agreed not to operate the turbines at night or at times of year when the bats would be flying until it obtained federal permits.

...

They claim they wind turbines, with blades extending 415 feet high, will "almost certainly" injure or kill Indiana bats.

The small brownish-black mammals range across much of the eastern United States, but their population is so low and thinly spread that federal officials consider them at risk of extinction. Listening equipment Constellation set up while building the turbines this year detected calls of Indiana bats. The lawsuit contends there is a "robust population" of Indiana bats that hibernates in a cave 13 miles from the project site.

Strictly an observation on my part, but it would appear that Indiana Bats MAY be an endangered species - however, there's no shortage of Moon-Bats in the State of Maryland.  I wonder how these folks will get the electricity to power their $42,000 Chevrolet 'Volts' to cruise the alloted 20 miles from home to view these bat caves and get back again?

They certainly can't use OIL to generate the electricity (last time I looked, we're FLAT out of dinosaurs).

They can't use COAL (because it's 'dirty' and 'Mama says' that being 'dirty' is BAD.  And you'll never meet NICE people if you're 'dirty'.)

They can't use NUCLEAR because, well, just because.  Venture back to my post earlier this week about Chernobyl for additional 'Glow in the Dark' fun.

And NOW, they don't want us to use WIND POWER because we might end up 'Cuisinarting' these wonderful little bats.  (But I hear that they ARE delicious the way Paula Deen cooks 'em up with a little butter, flour, and salt!)

     Awwww, isn't he CUTE?!?!

I don't know folks.  Seems like the only POWER SOURCE left us as an option is HEAT POWER.

[This would be the power we COULD capture from the amount of HOT AIR coming from Environmentalists given some new, highly-efficient, thermal technology]

These folks, apparently, will not be happy until we're all driving with Fred...

Good Night Sweet Polar Cow...

My apologies to those who wanted to see the following post for Earth Day.  Between the two of us - I was asleep at the wheel.

But to me, EVERY day is Earth Day.

It's like 'where I live man...'

Oh my.  I don't know how I can begin this post.  But I will, as always, do what I can in spite of my shock, sorrow, and dismay over the following topic.

GOOD NEWS:  It wasn't a polar bear

BAD NEWS:  It wasn't a polar bear

Given the constraints of time, and the uncertainty of my still trembling hands, I'll keep this post as brief as possible.

I'm sorry.  Some days it's just hard.

FROM THE UK INDEPENDENT ONLINE:
After two reports of polar bears being washed up on the British coast this year, it was only a matter of time before the icebergs arrived.

"Amazed locals" had seen icebergs off the north-west coast of England, at Morecambe Bay in the Irish Sea, according to news reports yesterday.

Many people assume that the UK is too far south to have icebergs, but the fatal collision between the giant passenger liner Titanic and the iceberg which did for her in April 1912 was actually a long way to the south of the British Isles, at latitude 41°46N. The most southerly part of Britain, the Lizard peninsula in Cornwall, lies at 49°55N.

Predictably, however, further investigation revealed yesterday's "icebergs" to be more in the nature of ice floes – the biggest being about 20ft long and three feet thick. They were frozen parts of the sea nonetheless, in an area where temperatures had, on occasions during the recent freeze, climbed no higher than minus 8C.
...

Reports of polar bears traveling to Britain made the news earlier this year. The RSPB suggested that one had been washed up still alive on the Hebridean island of Mull – the story was an April Fool. The second report came in September when Naomi Lloyd, a presenter of ITV's West Country breakfast bulletin, excitedly informed viewers that a polar bear had been washed up dead at the Cornish seaside town of Bude.

The animal turned out to be a cow, which had been bleached white by the seawater.

Stories regarding the 'washed up' Polar Bear spread quickly throughout the country as environmentalists pointed to the beached carcass as 'Proof Positive' that Global Warming was, in fact, killing Polar Bears.  (And, apparently, floating them on icebergs thousands of miles to the English countryside)

Seriously, you Global Warming Extremist folks - you may want to take a few moments to check for 'udders' prior to sending the Press Releases out worldwide.

For now, the polar ice caps appear to be intact (and by some accounts...  Growing)

Come on, don't have a COW...

Our Friend... Global Warming

I would like to thank everyone who has made this moment possible.  This is the day that I hoped, but never dreamed, would come true.

This is the day I learned that the National Geographic published an article stating that "greenhouse gases...are heating up the atmosphere to such an extent that the next ice age, predicted to be the deepest in millions of years, may be postponed indefinitely."

Yes, you read the preceeding correctly.  Scientists (real scientists with clipboards) have developed computer models which indicate that the Earth is preparing to move into a new state wherein 'permanent ice sheets' will shroud much of Canada, Europe, and Asia.

However, the ice cover will be 'postponed' by...  (Drumroll please)

Global warming!

This is not to say that the 'icing' of the Earth will be 'good', since they are predicting about two miles of ice on top of the spot where I am currently writing this post.  The GOOD news is that they are predicting ONLY two miles of ice, versus, what I can only assume (since they don't mention it in the article) something like ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY-SEVEN miles of ice (I, ah, made this number up).

I have a few problems with the article.  Simply stated, I, your friendly MoosRoom Blog Guy, am confused.  Like really, really confused.  Allow me to condense the reasons for my dementia into a simple listing of quotes to illustrate my cognitive dissonance after re-reading the article about eleven times.  The following are actual excerpts from the National Geographic article (excerpts are in "Quotes"):
"But the idea that global warming may be staving off an ice age is "not cause for relaxing, because we're actually moving into a highly unusual climate state," Crowley added."   (Note:  Oh, oh, that sounds bad.  Really bad.  I especially do not like the whole 'highly unusual climate state' part.)

"I think the present [carbon dioxide] levels are probably sufficient to prevent that (permanent ice sheets 2 miles thick over your head) from ever happening," said Crowley, whose study will appear tomorrow in the journal Nature.  (Note:  No ice age!  Yay, you folks go ahead and keep doing what you've been doing (for the last 2,000+ years!)  Nice job!)

"The researchers found that between 10,000 and 100,000 years from now, Earth would enter into a period of permanent ice sheets—more severe than any seen in millions of years."  (Note:  Hey, but Doc Crowley said, "No way!".  Didn't you guys read the two quotes above?  Come on, you're quoted in the same article!  Dudes, you're killing me!)

"Though this extreme ice age would be unusual, so is the climate that people are creating by emitting huge amounts of greenhouse gases, Crowley said (global warming fast facts)."

"It's hard to say what's going to happen," Crowley said. "The very fact that you have this nonglacial [warming] atmosphere with polar ice caps [still present], presents a bizarre scenario.  (Note:  Hey, Doc, but you said...  NOW you're saying that there WILL be lots of 'Love on the rocks'?  Come on, it's science.  It is either correct, or it's not.  You can't have two 'Hypotheses' for the same set of variables.  Can you!?)

Okay, let's go to an 'Expert':

Prehistoric-climate expert Lorraine Lisiecki said, "This is the only study of which I am aware that suggests the next ice age could be much more extreme than those of the previous one million years ago."   (Note:  So does Dr. Lisiecki HAVE an opinion?  An opinion of her own?  Keep reading...)

But she (Lisiecki) agreed that we 'might never find out what would have happened naturally, due to human-caused global warming'.  (Note:  She has no opinion of her own because WE are alive and messed up HER calculations.)

"Current greenhouse gas concentrations are probably similar to those that occurred three million years ago and are high enough to prevent an ice age for hundreds of thousands of years," she said.  (Note:  No, hold on, she DOES have an opinion!  'Greenhouse gas concentrations are probably similar to those that occurred three million years ago...'   Yeah, when dinosaurs drove SUV's and 'Extincted' themselves by burning each other as 'fossil fuel'.)

Okay, to sum up 'scientifically':
  • We MAY have no more ice ages for a very long time - Yay!
  • We MAY have ice ages MUCH more severe than the planet has experienced ever before - Boo!
  • Dinosaurs produced, and burned, fossil fuels (and drove SUV's) - Boo!  (And Yay! because I want to see dinos drive again in the future, or past, whatever!)
  • This ice-borne apocalypse ONLY 10,000 to 100,000 years away!   (FREAK at any time.  Again, this is both a Boo!  And, a Yay! event.  Boo because it could happen in MY lifetime, and Yay because I could die long before the 10,000 years are up)
What YOU can do to make a positive impact on the future:
  • Buy a really powerful SUV with a ice-breaking drill mounted to the front of it.  Don't forget the cool 'Deck mounted machine gun option' in case you run into 'Ice Mutants' or 'Canadians' looking for the beach).  Stud those tires because it's going to be 'hard' to climb up that two-mile high sheet of ice sliding towards your home in 12,008AD
  • Purchase a really good (and really LONG) extended warranty agreement on your vehicle (Duration?  Oh, 10 to 100 thousand years should cover it)
  • Warn everyone you know about this impending disaster (more disasters coming next week, but this disaster is THIS WEEK's disaster)
  • Remember, without a solid Hypothesis and evidence there is no science.  There is only guessing.  (Or, thinking back to when you were little...  "Making stuff up")
  • Oh yeah, and have a good week (while you can...)
If you would like to read the actual article, you may do so by clicking the following link:  National Geographic

Next week's disaster:  World ends on December 21st, 2012!  (Oh, and forget THIS week's disaster because, well, the reality is that you'll never see it because we're all gone in less than one and a half years when the Earth shifts on its axis and you find yourself living in "Nuevo Atlantis" (with the fish))

I'd better not wait too long to post that blog, because there's not a lot of time left to worry...

GroundHog Day

This is a"Deja Moo" re-issue of a post I did in 2009.  I tripped across it whilst looking for something else.  So I figured, "Hey, I can CTRL-C and CTRL-V with the best of 'em, so why not put it up again for this year's Groundhog Day?"

I've got a kickin' post in the back of my head that was inspired by a link sent over by my friend, GrumpyElder, but it's as yet un-written back there in the far-reaches of my melon.

Problem is that seems like every day for the past two weeks we have a 'Winter Weather Event' up here.  Two weeks ago it was -10 degrees with a -17 WindChill.  Since then, we've had snow, ice (pretty much daily), and a unique 'Freezing Mist' which I've never experienced before.  The end result is I'm leaving early for work and getting home late.  Then when I finally do get home, I have to de-snow, de-ice, and de-liver my car up the driveway into the garage, cook dinner, wash dishes, check homework, do laundry, 'bug' the DNC and get to bed so I can start it all over again the next day.

Since the driveway is at on an incline and ALWAYS covered with some sort of 'frost-varient' I speed UP the driveway, hit the garage door opener button and HOPE that the door opens before I drive through the door (vs. 'under' the door as normal).

So far, so good.  I haven't hit anything (or anyone), yet.  But since it's only February and we have 2+ more months of 'snow' ahead of us, I'm thinking that I'll be wearing that Overhead Door as a hood ornament by mid-March.

Hey, you gotta have a dream...

[We now re-join our post from 2009 already in progress...]
It was only a matter or time.  It had to happen.  The only question I have is:
So why did I have to find out about it?

I was arguing with my son over the number of times that Punxsutawney Phil hasn't seen his shadow since 1886 (we had to argue about something, so why not something completely pointless?).

That answer, so YOU don't have to look it up, is FOURTEEN.  Yes, for only fourteen times in the past 132 years, the sleepy, dark-loving, 'un-happy-about-being-dragged-out-in-front-of-13,000-loons' Phil has NOT seen his shadow.  Now you know in case you want to start an argument with someone in your family...

But I also found out something that I DIDN'T know.  I found out that there are folks 'out there' speculating that since NINE of these fourteen total 'non-shadow' appearances have taken place since 1975 that it's because of...

WHAT?

Go ahead and guess!  Come on, you can do it!

Give up?

What is the significance of 9 out of 14?  Take a shot!  Do IT!  Do IT NOW!  (Read the preceding like Ahnooold.)

Well, it is being speculated that this large percentage of non-shadow 'events' since 1975 is because Punxsutawney Phil is sensitive to, and completely aware of...

Global Warming.

Yup, even the lowly groundhog is in on the Global Warming kick now.  Here is a photo of the environmentally-aware groundhog in his natural environment (being dragged out of a dark box into broad daylight, surrounded by thousands of shouting and laughing 'Phil-O-Philes').

Go ahead, look into HIS eyes and call ME insane...
blog post photo

Yes, stare into the eyes of nature's pre-eminent early-warning system.  Feel Phil's psychic presence as he pleads with you to save HIS planet (he, apparently, is very full of himself)...

Okay, enough of that.  Can we discuss reality for a moment, just for a MOMENT?  From the article, I quote, "(Phil) uttered something in the obscure language of Groundhogese to Club President Bill Cooper, who then proclaimed that the large rodent had seen his shadow and we would therefore be getting six more weeks of winter."

So here's where it gets weird(er):  The Global Warming prediction is NOT made by the groundhog himself, but more appropriately, by a guy named, 'Bill Cooper' translating on behalf of the rodent.

How do I know this?

Simply put:  Groundhogs don't speak.  Go ahead, you can look it up if you have to, but I'm pretty confident that the section above about 'the obscure language of Groundhogese' is a SCAM made up to amuse TOURISTS (as proof, I offer the following to you:  No one in their right mind goes to Pennsylvania in FEBRUARY.)

If Phil actually spoke, I'm pretty sure it would be something more like, "Psst, hey buddy, you put me back in my box away from these lunatics or I'm gonna take off one of your stubby little gloved fingers.  Don't mess with me, I'm a rodent, a cousin of the 'rat'.  I can do it.  Don't push me man - I'm out of my box AND I'm on edge."

To add more credence to the above theory, it was reported on February 2nd, 2009 that the New York equivalent of Phil, Staten Island Chuck, did in fact, take a chunk out of NYC Mayor, Michael Bloomberg's hand.

Personally, I hope he's okay.  You can get a nasty infection from a bite like that.  Regarding Mayor Bloomberg, I'm sure that he'll be okay too - I'm more concerned that the poor little rodent may have picked something up from the Mayor, you know, him being a politician and all...

If you would like to read the entire story, you can click the following link:  Phil Responding to Global Warming?

Click this link if you want...  Or you can just trust me.  Just like the Global Warming folks who 'KNOW IN THEIR HEARTS THAT HUMANS ARE KILLING THE PLANET', trust Bill Cooper to translate the frantic grunting of a panicked rodent (being pulled from his hutch into the cold February air) can predict the weather forecast (and, ultimately, the END of the EARTH).

Yeah, you're right, it's probably better to not trust anyone.  Not even a guy in the tuxedo coat and top hat - especially if he's from Pennsylvania.

Game On You Tuxedo-Clad Rodent Abusers...
