The Vagina Ideologue

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1035&v=TQxrnIv4mo0

.

From WIKIPEDIA:  The Vagina Monologues is an episodic play written by Eve Ensler which ran at the Off-Broadway Westside Theatre after a limited run at HERE Arts Center in 1996. Charles Isherwood of The New York Times called the play "probably the most important piece of political theater of the last decade."   (Well, maybe until this year's Presidential Race that is...)

In yesterday's post I mentioned that I watched Hillary Clinton's speech in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, following the FBI announcement that James Comey was reopening the investigation into Secretary Clinton's e-mail server.  Her plane sat on the runway in Iowa for over 20 minutes as rabid supporters and detractors waited to hear what she had to say about it in her speech a few hours after the news broke.
In the end, she didn't mention it at two of her scheduled daytime rallies, instead choosing to wait until Friday evening to address America on yet another round of Clinton Scandals (after some one else took the time to write down for Candidate Clinton exactly how she felt about it)In case anyone forgets, Presidential Candidate, Bill Clinton, in 1992 was often quoted during his campaign that if we, "Elect Bill Clinton President of these United States, you get two for the price of one."  In hindsight, some bargains are simply better off left un-purchased at the Dollar Store's checkout line.
.
But here's the thing - after watching Hillary speak on Friday (I try not to do this because it makes me cranky) I gained a whole new perspective on Hillary, her view on America, and her view on women in America.  In fact, through the first six minutes of the speech, the only names mentioned were the names of women; supporters, candidates, women wearing 'Nasty Girl' T-Shirts (?), but yes, only women.  Donald Trump's name finally comes in twenty-four seconds later at 6:24.
.
This obsession with focusing on Women, Women's Issues, and Women Voters reminded me of the HBO Series "The Vagina Monologues" back in the mid-1990's.  While I do not normally post about 'body parts', I'll be the first to mention back in 2011 when I wrote, "Do you want to see my little Weiner?" regarding Anthony Weiner being made into an 'action figure' (yes, it's true)Given the reasons realeased by the FBI for re-opening the e-mail server case I find that I never get tired of viewing the intersecting related events surrounding 'All things Clinton' over the past 20+ years of our national history.
Regarding my reference above to Hillary's need to drive women to the polls?  Check out a few of the quotes below (I had to revisit the speech online and listen to her again - this ain't right.  I'm doing it so that YOU won't to.  Yeah, I took the bullet for you - all you have to do is READ the following, I had to listen to the words as they were squawked out by Hillary - I don't get paid enough for this).
HRC:  "Iowa gave me the chance to speak to families and all the things which keep you up at night."
Moos:  Not mentioned, of course, is the fact that most of the 'night things keeping people up' are a byproduct of the Obama Administration
HRC:  "I am here today with some amazing women..."

Moos:  Unfortunately, no men present were even...  Average?

HRC:  "His (Trump's) strategy is to get women to stay home, get young people to stay home, get people of color to stay home, it's all part of his Scorched Earth campaign, the last refuge of a bankrupt candidate..."

Moos:  If anyone's looking for the Scorched Earth Candidate, please feel free to continue reading.  NOTE of Exception:  Hillary's not bankrupt, thanks to a lot of dealings with International Power Brokers and contributors to the Clinton Crime Family Foundation.
HRC:  "Right now more than 200 Million Americans have signed up to vote, the biggest number of them in history."
Moos:  Hillary, what makes you think they're voting for you?  I know that you've cornered the 'deceased voter turnout', but the currently-living tax-paying folks may have a different plan for the future.
HRC:  "I started my career all those years ago fighting for kids and family that has been the cause of my life, it will be the mission of my Presidency.  I will wake up every day and ask myself what will I do to help every single person live up to their God given potential."
Moos:  Hey, I'm sorry, but are you telling us that you haven't proactively THOUGHT about how to help every single person live up to their God Given potential?  Didn't you tell us that all of your 'Deep Thoughts' were in that 'Stronger Together' book written with your VP running mate, Tim Kaine?  And that therein lies your plans for America's future?
Did you not include 'kids and family' in your thought process?  Here's an idea, get out of kids' and their family's freaking lives and let them make their own decisions without having to put up with limitations place upon them by political hacks...  Like you.
HRC:  "Throughout this campaign, actually, throughout his life, Donald Trump has demeaned and insulted women.  Now we all heard the tape of him on the bus bragging about what he did to women, and given his long track record of lewd and offensive comments about women, it was shocking but not surprising.  And then one woman after another has come forward to say "What he said on that tape is exactly what he did to me"."
Moos:  Hmm, do I smell the Earth Scorching?  Hillary, take it from your White House ghost-friend, Eleanor Roosevelt

And, OBTW (Oh, by the way), have you forgotten who you have been enabling, and married to for all of these years?  Yeah, you know where I'm going...)

HRC:  "It's no surprise that every policy he talks about show this disrespect, even contempt for women.  So make no mistake, women's health and rights, our futures, the futures of our daughters, and our granddaughters, are on the ballot.  We were reminded of that in the last debate when he pledged to overturn Roe v. Wade and end safe, and legal abortions.  He promised to defund Planned Parenthood to wipe away the health care services that millions of women get for cancer screening, and so many other necessary 'health'..."    (Hillary trailed off here after saying 'Health', or maybe it was 'Help'?  I'm not sure what happened, perhaps she was distracted by her own level of misrepresentation?)
Moos:  Huh, you know what's WEIRD?  Planned Parenthood does NOT provide cancer screening diagnostics other than the prevention of (unwanted pregnancies for minorities), and the killing of viable fetuses in US inner-cities.
From the Planned Parenthood  website:  Planned Parenthood doctors and nurses teach patients about breast care, connect patients to resources to help them get vital biopsies, ultrasounds, and mammograms, and follow up to make sure patients are cared for with the attention they need and deserve.    No, there are no cancer diagnostic services offered at any of the Planned Parenthood low-income neighborhood locations across the nation.  I didn't say it - they did.

But hey, if you need some 'liver stem cells', they got those!  And if you're wealthy enough, you can have them too!
HRC:  "I just have to say that we've come too far to let Donald Trump take us back, haven't we?  And I fight for women's issues, not just because I'm a woman, but because I believe these are American issues.  And remember those 112 countries I visited?  I saw in many of them the way women were treated.  How they were marginalized, sidelined, how they were not guaranteed an education, health care, an opportunity to pursue their own dreams and ambitions.
Moos:  Hillary has taken MILLIONS of US dollars in donations to her, and her family's Foundation    from the very same nations and those individuals of whom she accuses with the mistreatment of women.  Don't even get me started on her cash-receipts from nations promoting hate and murder against Christians, Gays, and other victims of violence because they were somehow 'different'.  People in glass houses shouldn't be allowed access to a RPG...
HRC:  "You know when I started saying all this during the campaign months and months ago and Donald Trump would say that I'm playing the Woman Card - remember that?  And you know what I say, if standing up for women's health and women's rights is playing the woman card, then Deal Me In!"
Moos:  The cards have been dealt.  You represent a losing hand for America.  Now go get someone else to provide you with free housing for the next four years and leave US alone.
HRC:  And in the future, you'll be able to take time off  with pay for any reason, have free college, get kids into indoctrination sooner with free Pre-K, get everyone to pay their 'fair share' and make sure that everyone has a minimum, living wage (except women who work for me), blah, blah, blah...
Moos:  This is a summary of the last ten minutes of the speech - I don't have the stomach to listen and then re-listen to it for inclusion here.  If you want to, click on the link at the top of the post, you can listen to the whole speech if you like.

I've got to tell you, I had reservations about using the 'V' word in the title of this post, but it fits uncomfortably well.  Hillary Clinton sees the upcoming Election Day as her last chance to get her hooks into the Presidency of the United States.  She MUST drive women to the polls based upon lies, misrepresentations, and exaggerations.  In her mind this is her turn. She put up with the other half (Bill) of 'Clinton Inc' for all of those years, and no one, no tax-avoidance-real estate-magnate-TV-show-starring-New-Yorker is going to take it away from her.

Well, Hillary Clinton is correct.  It's not up to Trump to take it away from her - it's up to us.

While I am no longer a Republican, I'm still an American.  While I still have a wee small voice I'm going to use it  up to and including Election Day (although, living in New York, my vote will most likely be a wasted vote).
.
In conclusion, please remember that ONLY Republicans can vote on November 8th and only Democrats vote on November 9th due to the HEAVY VOTING expected on the upcoming election day(s).

Dead people have all the time in the world and can vote for Hillary Clinton whenever and how many times they want - just like they always have for Democrat candidates.

Have a nice weekend folks.

You Poor Unfortunate Souls - So Sad So True

.
I admit that in the past I've been a nasty,
They weren't kidding when they called me, well, a witch.
But you'll find that nowadays
I've mended all my ways
Repented, seen the light, and made a switch.

.
And I fortunately know a little magic,
It's a talent that I always have possessed,
And dear citizen, please don't laugh,
I use it on behalf
Of the miserable, the lonely, and depressed (Pathetic)

You poor unfortunate souls...
.

I had the misfortune of catching Hillary Clinton's speech somewhere in Iowa on Friday afternoon.  Yes, this would be yesterday, following the announcement that the James Comey was reopening the FBI's Hillary Clinton e-mail case in light of new, 'related evidence' found in an 'unrelated case' (yet another Team-Clinton-related investigation having something to do with a 'Weiner' - why does this keep happening to the Clintons, they seem so nice?).  It was during this press conference that I realized something wonderful,  something horrible, and something all-to-perfect to deny - Hillary Ramrod Clinton looks an awful lot like...
.
Disney's Ursula, the Sea Witch.

 .
Yes, America may very well vote for a Disney Villain as the next President of the United States.
.
Question for you:  Did you ever begin to build a multi-hundred piece jigsaw puzzle in which you look in vain to find the missing piece which brings the rest of the pieces together - dare I say, into complete focus?  For me, Hillary / Ursula, was the puzzle piece which had been skirting the periphery of my mind for the past several weeks.  When it hit me I tried not to laugh, but when it did, it was loud, and it must have sounded a little maniacal.  I laughed hard enough enough to bring my son from his room at the end of the hallway and look at me kind of funny.  "Are you okay Dad?" he asked.
.
"Pretty close to perfect kidd-o, I've just put the 2016 election into perspective."  I must have scared the boy a little because he didn't leave after I told him that "Yes, I am 'okie dokie', no problem-o Senor Tim".
.
"Um, you want me to call Mom or sit out here, and you know, 'watch you' for a while?" he asked.
.
"No need dude, I haven't lost my gourd as yet, and during this particular election season, well, that's saying quite a bit about your Dad's grasp on reality."  I assured him that I hadn't lost my mind again as he walked slowly down the hall looking over his shoulder to make sure I was still 'okay'.  Y
.
Yup, yours truly is just fine following my most recent revelation / outburst, but what's up with all the "Women's Issues" courtesy of her crack team of staff writers?  Since when did our Nation have it's 'pee-pee' removed?  I went looking for a transcript of Madame Secretary's speech (at which point no one had told her how she felt about having her server investigation opened once again - so she didn't mention it because talking about it, well, that might make it REAL) but the things she did say, well, let's just say that I felt completely out of touch with an America built differently than the one I've known my whole life.  Now I need to listen to the speech and manually type a transcript of what she said, out loud, and in public.  I will not do this for me, I will do it for you.  Why?  Because I was WAY too happy yesterday afternoon, I need a good level-setting knowing that what I heard was not a speech about 'two Americas' as popularized by Algore, but rather ONE America!
.
An America in which you'd better keep the seat down.
.
Or else...

White Like Me

.
Over the past ten years I've heard quite a bit about the concept of 'White Privilege' from folks on the Left.  I've had e-mails sent to me by well-meaning friends who believed that I would benefit reading about why I am a 'bad person' by the sole virtue of birth to parents who are:  Irish, German, and depending upon which relative you listened...  Perhaps a bit of 'Scot' thrown in for good measure?
.
Am I White?  Aye, yes I am.  Shoot, I'm so White it's hard to look at me on a sunny day without protecting your eyes with thick, polarized lenses.  I'm downright REFLECTIVE in the daylight.
.
So here I sit - White as charged.
.

Given my personal level of 'Whiteness' I've got to figure that there are folks out there who see me as being incredibly privileged.  This will come as a HUGE surprise to my wife (she's White too, just so there's no misunderstanding) who feels that we struggle monthly to get ahead in this 'robust economic recovery' we've been in since President Obama took the helm of the Nation's economic policies.
.
DIGRESSION ALERT IN 3, 2, 1:
.
Just the other day I heard that the economy is growing at pretty darn close to 1.2% in Q2!  This growth is more than TWICE the growth of GDP in Q1 2016 ( 0.5%)For anyone keeping score, Hillary Clinton says she wants to continue President Obama's Economic policies if she's elected...  WooHoo!!!!  How about that!?!?!
.
DIGRESSION ALERT ENDS IN 3, 2,
We now continue the prior post already in progress...
..
However, I've got to wonder, how can people see me as being privileged solely by virtue of my particular 'hue'?  Why do some people feel the need to judge me NOT by the content of my character, but rather, by the color of my skin?  Yes, you've heard that one before, said by a man whose life has had much more import than my own.
.
I know it will may some folks on the Left reading these lines upset, angry, and possibly even a bit 'wacky' to learn that I don't feel any guilt over being born the color of an incredibly pale peach
.
But hey folks - here's the news flash...  I have no self-loathing.  You'll have to take that pity party on your own (book early, seats are filling up fast!)
.
Puddles the Clown - Bad Puddles, Bad!  You are VERY White!

.
If you're one of the folks subscribing to the notion of White Privilege (a.k.a.: 'WP') and are looking for self-loathing from the kid here - go find ANY shiny surface around your home and peer deeply into it.  Hate yourself if you like (if it makes you feel 'better'?).  While I may disappoint myself (and others) at times, I believe that my life's condition is pretty much a reflection of my own efforts and good / bad decision-making ability.  While not perfect, I'm pretty happy with me - sorry to disappoint those looking for yours truly to get weepy and bemoan the fact that I'm not something other than I am.
.
I've also heard that if you're White (you, know, like me), that you can't possibly understand what it means to be 'non-white'.  Yeah, maybe so.  Perhaps this is the pale-skinned Americans' 'Get out of Jail Free' card against those unhappy preachers of the 'WP' philosophy?  I mean, how can I know what's it like to be something...  Which I am not?
.
But here's the thing, can a 'non-pale-peach-colored' person know what it's like to be someone 'incredibly White' like me?  Everyone on this planet has his/her own experiences which conspire to make them the person they are today.  While I have done impressions of other people / characters - I don't truly know what it is to BE them.
.
Conversely then, might it also be true that purveyors of 'WP' don't know what it's like to be, you know, White like me?

So Who Says Juggling In Bed is Weird?

Hi,

It's me.  I'm still (virtually) here, but I've been busy (very, very, busy) since 2015 ended (so abruptly, and unexpectedly, I must add).  There are many things which I've wanted to say, in actuality, there have been WAY TOO many things I've wanted to say - so, I've kept myself to myself and I've kept my 'yap' shut like a good little minion.

Like they say, if you've got nothing nice to say, well, you shouldn't say anything at all.

So I'm not saying anything today either, but rather, I'm going to let Bernie and Hillary say it all...

Well, sort of...
