The Vagina Idealogues

"Hey Republicans, keep your hands off my vagina!"
"No problem.  Now get it out of my face..."

A few days ago when I wrote the post entitled, "Just Keep Swimming...", I was writing about the Useful Idiots who would be called upon by Democrats to disrupt the Republican National Convention in Tampa.  I reviewed the list of traditional malcontents:  Communist Party USA members, Occupy Wall Street / Tampa / Everywhere folks, Anarchists, Union Representatives, Progressives, and Liberals in general.  (Surprisingly, this call to action hasn't hit the American Nazi Party radar yet - perhaps the bunker lost its Internet feed when a Isaac-related wind gust took out their 24k Prodigy dial-up connection?)

I don't know what happened to 'Team Nazi', but what I do know is that I 'misunderestimated' the depth of the depravity of the remaining 'opposing teams'.  I figured the worst they would do is to send people with machetes strapped to their legs, or to run through convention areas wearing masks after being warned by law enforcement to NOT do so.

I did, however, scratch my head in dull amazement as I watched the 'Dancing Anarchists' video on TheBlaze.com along with its sister video of protesters marching and shouting "Arm the poor and eat the rich".

A word of advice to future RNC miscreants out there:  When you are planning a protest march, PLEASE make sure that you have more protesters than you have media reporters covering the 'event'.

Yeah, you do what you can to help the weak-minded.  Free advice for you guys - take it for what you paid for it.

However, I will give these folks credit for something:  They are shameless.

Here's the thing, if you had a shred of self-respect, would you don a bright pink (or fabulous Earthen-tone) Vagina and show up in public to get Media coverage for a DCCC inspired make-believe war on women?

No, I'm thinking you probably wouldn't.

But then again, I'm thinking that MOST people wouldn't, you know, mostly because:

a.  it's 'icky',

b.  a Vagina costume HAS to be hot, (in SOOOOO many ways)

c.  and family members may find this video in the future and ask, "Um, Marge, I thought you gave up drugs in the 70's - didn't you?"

Yes, this is THAT video.

Spend less than two minutes and listen to these folks' channel their "inner-Vaginas"...

My favorite quote from the clip?

"My Mother always told me to really appreciate women and to appreciate the vagina, because that's where I come from..."

Yeah, I couldn't have said it better myself.  The interesting thing is that the above comment is spoken by the nice man in the pink hat.  I'm seriously doubting that where he 'comes from' is the vagina - but I digress.  I guess words have multiple meanings dependent upon what you're listening for.

As I attempted to go BACK to sleep at 4:18am this morning, I had visions of spooky women wearing vagina costumes in my head.  Some demons must be exorcised.  This post is my private exorcism.  Having said this:  Good night!  Er, good morning,  ah, good grief, it's almost 5:25am...  I'm off to bed (again).

Oh, and if you're thinking about giant-annoying-walking-around-vaginas today, it's not my fault.  Just because I used the word 'Vagina' something like ten times in a single post it doesn't mean that YOU have to read it.

And if you have nightmares tonight?  I'd keep it to yourself, if I were you.  No one is going to believe that women actually donned giant labia minoras, using their heads as giant clitorises and prancing around in public, speaking about the very 'privateness of their parts'...

Unless, of course, you send them the video above, or this photo:

"Hey there, you with the clitoris for a head..."

Good Lord, I may never sleep again.

Just Keep Swimming...

Associated Press, August 24, 2012:  WASHINGTON (AP) — Democrats want to cause a stir — or at least stay in the conversation — while the spotlight is on Republicans next week at the GOP convention in Tampa.

President Barack Obama and his campaign are seeking to counter Mitt Romney's message and try head off any dramatic climb for the Republican challenger in post-convention polls, staging events around the nation next week.

Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will campaign in four battleground states and Obama's campaign will hold events around the country aimed at attracting women voters. The "Romney-Ryan: Wrong for Women" events will start with the Women Vote 2012 Summit in Las Vegas on Saturday with appearances by White House advisers Valerie Jarrett and Cecilia Munoz and actress Natalie Portman and include similar gatherings aimed at women voters in seven cities next week.

...

Phil Singer, who helped coordinate Democrats' message during the 2004 Republican convention, said it's always difficult to "crash the other side's party" because the convention carries with it a captive media audience, primetime programming and tens of millions of dollars behind the high-profile speeches.

But Singer said "in a media environment that's on steroids as this one is, any time you're not feeding the shark, the shark is feeding on you."

Wow.

Interesting use of the metaphor, Mr. Singer.

I pulled the above quotes from an article I found on Yahoo.com this morning.  There's more, of course, but as I'm moving my son back to college this morning, I won't be able to discuss it here.  That's one of the advantages to not being able to sleep past 5:30am, you can do 'stuff' while everyone in the house above you is doing nothing...

But here's the thing:  I found some 'other stuff' online this morning that appears to be oddly consistent with the message conveyed above.  I found it in an interesting place, my favorite site, the Occupy Wall Street Home Page.

Remember the opening line from the article above?  WASHINGTON (AP) — Democrats want to cause a stir — or at least stay in the conversation — while the spotlight is on Republicans next week at the GOP convention in Tampa.

Yes ladies, gentlemen, boys, and girls, time to issue the casting call for...

The Useful Idiots

Oh, look, here they come now.

From the site:  August 26th Day of Action – Women’s Equality Day
Posted 1 day ago on Aug. 23, 2012, 7:52 p.m. EST by OccupyWallSt

Call to Action via Women Organized to Resist and Defend. Occupiers across the country are organizing in solidarity; we encourage everyone who can to attend! In NYC, we will gather at 47th St & 6th Ave at 1pm.

On Women’s Equality Day, August 26 – on the eve of the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida, which will be immediately followed by the Democratic National Convention - women and their allies will take to the streets of Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, Chicago and other cities across the country in defense of women's rights.

August 26th - Women’s Equality Day - commemorates the 1920 passage of the 19th amendment, giving women the right to vote. Winning the right to vote was an important victory, but the struggle for full equality continues. Celebrate Women’s Equality Day by taking to the streets and demanding full equality now. Honor the women who fought for the rights we’ve won and continue the struggle for full equality.

...

So while they’re convening and concocting new ways to attack our rights and our lives, let’s come together in the streets to stand up and fight back!

There will be mass demonstrations in Los Angeles, San Francisco and other cities around the country. We will mobilize thousands in the streets to show the world that there is a new women’s movement rising and we will not go back.

We believe that access to reproductive choice – the basic right of women to control our own bodies – is a fundamental right and must be defended. We believe in equality. We support working women.

We are tired of the right wing trying to turn back the clock and take our hard-won rights away. All people who support equality and choice should organize with us and help these actions grow.

If you can’t make it to protest in Tampa and Charlotte, join or organize a protest in your community. There is a long, proud tradition of women in the United States mobilizing and fighting to win equality and respect. Let’s continue this legacy this summer!

"We need to take things into our own hands..." O-k-a-y?

The Republican National Convention is taking place in Tampa starting August 27th. The Coalition to March on the RNC encourages you to join us and stand in solidarity as we march at the RNC to fight back against the political elite and the 1% agenda.

As of now, we are a Coalition uniting groups from around the country to say NO to this political system that only works for the 1% and therefore are marching at the Republican National Convention to let our voices be heard.

Together we stand to march for good jobs, healthcare, affordable education, equality and peace.

...

For too long people have suffered while the rich got richer. We say money for human needs, not on wars overseas and corporate greed. Together, we are planning a 5000 strong march at the first day of the convention on Aug 27th. We have hundreds of national and local organizations such as Code Pink, Veterans for Peace, Get EQUAL, Dream defenders, United National Antiwar Coalition, Occupy Tampa, Occupy USF, Occupy Pensacola, Occupy Tallahassee and more endorsing us and we would love for all Occupy Assemblies to come down to Tampa to join and/or endorse our coalition. Only through unity is there strength.

We will be encouraging people to sleep at Occupy Tampa's Voice of Freedom park or at these parks that allow camping for a nominal fee [Editor's note: Please be aware that a tropical storm system, potentially a hurricane, is expected to effect Tampa during the Convention. The RNC isn't telling people not to go to Florida, so neither are we. But you should check with organizers about alternatives in case of flooding.]

[Moos Note:  Dear Occupods, in case of flooding - "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..."]

We will be rallying at Perry Harvey Sr. Park, located at 1200 N. Orange Ave Tampa, FL, at 10 am and will be marching from the park through the streets of Tampa to "Protest RNC Square" at around noon. See here for the parade route.

Could any one else be looking to keep attention OFF the Republican National Convention to help President Obama to "head off any dramatic climb for the Republican challenger in post-convention polls"?

Hey, here comes another school of U.I.'s, courtesy of the Communist Party USA site:

Again with the 'War on Women' theme?  I wonder who started this?

Huh, again with the 'War on Women' theme.  Seems odd that there's so much debate about it, this election year, doesn't it?

WHY all the "War"?  WHY all the "Division"?  WHY all the fringe and radical groups uniting against mild-mannered-minding-their-own-business-while-exchanging-business-cards-Republicans meeting in Tampa, Florida?

Hold on, I think I've got it...

Ta Da!  The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee!

When the siren call for assorted Communists, Occupiers, Party Crashers, Activists, and Malcontents goes out, no one brings them all together like the Democratic Party does.

It's a Party like no other.

But hey, people will judge you by the people you hang out with, don't you know that?  Oh, that's right, they don't, as evidenced by the folks YOU guys continue to hang with.

Come on DCCC - why all the Hysteria over the RNC?

Can't we all just get along?

"Come on people now, smile on your brother, everybody get together and love one another right now..."

Right 'freaking' now, or we'll Occupy you.

Burn Baby, Burn

"And if you re-elect ME, I'll do what I've been doing for the Past Four Years!"

Burn Rate:  n, the rate at which a company (esp. startup) uses its cash to survive, the money spent each month above incoming cash flow

Negative Return:  This occurs when a company or business has a financial loss or lackluster returns on an investment during a specific period of time. Some businesses report a negative return during their early years because of the amount of capital that initially goes into the business to get it off the ground. New businesses generally do not begin making a profit until after a few years of being established.

Also referred to as negative return on equity.  For more:  Investopedia

From USA Today.com, August 21, 2012:  WASHINGTON – As Election Day approaches, President Obama is burning through campaign money faster than he can collect it — exceeding his spending pace at this stage of the 2008 contest as he expands his field operation and trades combative ads on the airwaves with Republican rival Mitt Romney.

[Moos Note:  Obama spending more than he's taking in?  Who saw THAT coming???  For the love of God, it's all he knows how to do...]

Last month alone, Obama spent nearly $59 million through his main campaign account — $10 million more than he raised, financial reports filed late Monday afternoon show. The cost of his campaign so far: more than $325 million, not counting spending by the the Democratic Party committees aiding his re-election.

...

The Democratic National Committee also stepped up its spending on the president's behalf last month, burning through $32 million — more than double what the national party spent a month earlier, as it undertook fresh rounds of polling and advertising to help Obama.

Obama pumped more than $48 million into advertising last month, more than twice what Romney spent.

The Romney campaign has been on a winning streak when it comes to fundraising, besting Obama and Democrats for three straight months. Romney and his fundraising operation reported collecting $101 million in July, outgunning Obama and his allies by $25 million.

Since then, the Romney camp said it has raised $10.2 million online in the week after Romney's Aug. 11 announcement of Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan as his running mate.

...

Obama's spending has put increased pressure on his campaign to raise money quickly. In an e-mail to supporters last week, he implored them to give as little as $3 each, saying he was being outspent by Republicans on the airwaves by a 2-to-1 ratio in Iowa. Next week, the hunt for cash heads to Europe where actor George Clooney is scheduled to headline an Obama fundraiser in Geneva.

[Moos Note:  Yes, whenever I need financial aid to run for the highest public office in America, I always send MY Hollywood 'face' bundlers to Switzerland.  Yeah, President Obama is one of US...]

The end result of President Obama's reckless, deficit-laden, negative ad spending?

Fox News Online, August 23, 2012Less than a week before the Republican convention begins, the race for the White House is a virtual tie.  According to a Fox News poll of likely voters, the Mitt Romney-Paul Ryan ticket receives the backing of 45 percent, while the Barack Obama-Joe Biden ticket garners 44 percent.

The poll, released Thursday, is the first Fox has conducted among likely voters this year, which means an apples-to-apples comparison can’t be made to previous polls.  Likely voters are eligible/registered voters who will most likely cast a ballot in this year’s presidential election.

...

Both tickets have already gained the support of many of their key voting blocs.  Romney has the edge among white Evangelical Christians (70-18 percent), white voters (53-36 percent) [Moos Note:  Hey, but aren't ALL White Voters 'Racist?' what's with the 53/46 split?], married voters (51-38 percent), men (48-40 percent) and seniors (50-41 percent).

Obama has the advantage among black voters (86-6 percent)  [Moos Note:  Nope, not going here...  You know what I want to say.], women (48-42 percent), lower income households (53-35 percent), young voters (48-39 percent) and unmarried voters (55-34 percent).

Independents back Romney by 42-32 percent (one in four is undecided).  Independents were vital to Obama’s 2008 victory, backing him over Republican John McCain by 52-44 percent (Fox News exit poll).

In summation,

People intending to vote for Romney are:

  • older Americans,
  • married people with responsibilities,
  • guys,
  • more Independents, and
  • 'just over' 50% of White folks

The people voting for Obama are:

  • Racist Blacks [Oops, I went there, didn't I?],
  • the Poor [More of THEM than there used to be, aren't there?],
  • the young [a.k.a.:  unemployed college graduates], and
  • the unmarried

In conclusion, President Obama is running his campaign EXACTLY the way he's been running the country for almost four years:

He's spending more than he's taking in

He's playing fast and loose with the facts

He's making up 'stuff' as he goes

And if you ever got the chance to ask him, "Who's fault is it that your campaign is spending more than it's raising?"

Well, you already know the answer...

Have a nice weekend folks.

If you don't, you already know who to blame.

Meet the New Boss

Joe "WatchDog" Biden

Oops, to clarify, JOE BIDEN is not the new boss.  You can resume breathing normally again.  Barack Obama remains firmly in control of the Nation, the Economy, and your Retirement Accounts.  On second thought, you might want to begin breathing in and out through a Brown Paper Bag (Wine Bottle optional).

In actuality, Joe "Impeachment Insurance" Biden has very little to do with this post, other than the graphic in the background of this photo.

Joe, as always, is merely a conduit to something else...  He is a vessel (albeit it, an 'empty' one).

This being said, the post officially begins here...

Fisker hasn't had what you'd call the best year so far, but it may have found the ticket to turning its hybrid vehicle business around. Meet Tony Posawatz, Fisker's new CEO -- and, until just weeks ago, GM's Vehicle Line Director. Despite being the second new chief executive at Fisker since Tom LaSorda arrived in February, Posawatz needs little explanation for his sudden rise to power.

He's an original member of the Chevy Volt leadership structure and could very well know a thing or two about developing a hybrid car from start to finish.

His influence might only be keenly felt when the Atlantic wheels its way towards driveways in 2014, but there's no doubt he's onboard to right the good ship Karma and improve Fisker's reputation in the short term.

We wouldn't want to be in GM's shoes as it watches one of its EV-friendly veterans so publicly jump ship, however.

Yes, America, Tony Posawatz has left GM.

He no longer works for General Motors, nor the Unions which run General Motors, nor YOU, who bought GM for the Unions with your 'not-nearly-high-enough-yet-as-they-need-to-be' tax dollars.

He is gone.

Tony Posawatz has left the GM building.

If you need a moment to dab those tears away just go ahead, I'll be here when you get back.  It is, after all, a sad day for all of US.  We have lost a GREAT MAN at GM.

But HOLD ON, WAIT JUST A MOMENT, the news isn't ALL BAD!!!  Turn those tears of sadness into tears of joy because Tony 'Hotter than Heck' Posawatz is now...

THE CEO OF FISKER AUTOMOTIVE!!!

So you're probably asking yourself,  "Hey Moos, why should I be happy that he left Government Motors to work for a company based out of Finland?  Why is this good news?"

Oh, silly you, YOU own part of Fisker Automotive also!!!  You are invested in their success too!

"But, like I said, um, aren't they a company based in Finland?  How could I possibly have a stake in an offshore firm called Fisker Automotive?"

Okay, in case you missed it, President Obama sent $539 MILLION to Fisker Automotive from your TARP bailout money back in 2009.  These tax dollars were given to help Fisker build $120,000 Electric Sports Cars at a factory location in Delaware.

"So where's the factory?"

Hey kid, quit interrupting.

"No seriously, where's the plant, in case I wanted to take my kids on a tour?"

Finland.

"Finland, Delaware?" you ask.

Nah, Finland as in FINLAND.  Let me get back to my story now, okay???

"Seriously, Finland?  What else is Finland famous for, besides EV's?" you wonder absently aloud.

Actually, in researching this post, I did a little digging and found an answer to THAT question on WikiAnswers!  Ready?

Finland has three famous inventions: sauna, ice skates, and virtual air-guitar.

Its known by its citicens as the homeland of Santa Claus.  They say he lives in Korvatunturi, and Korvatunturi has gotten mail from all over the world, even from Japan.

"Sauna, ice skates, virtual air-guitar, and S-A-N-T-A C-L-A-U-S?  Seriously?"

Yup Virginia, Santa Claus, okay?

"Okay, get on with it..."

Sheesh, so anywho, the President gave Fisker $539 MILLION to Fisker to build a plant which doesn't exist, to build cars which no one wants, AND now Fisker is stealing the guy from Government Motors responsible for the Chevrolet Volt's startling success (feel free to laugh at any time), to do for the Fisker Karma what he did for the Chevrolet Volt!

"Which is?"

To manage the news.

"And what is the news?"

Oh, yeah, I should have mentioned this sooner, sorry...

Detroit News, August 18, 2012, Fisker recalls 2,400 plug-in Karma hybrids for fire risks

The automaker said the recall was prompted by the roadside fire of a $103,000 Fisker Karma sedan on Aug. 10 in Woodside, Calif. Fisker said an investigation found the ignition source was a sealed component that had an internal fault that caused it to fail, overheat and start a slow burning fire.

"We're attacking all of these issues head-on," Ormisher said.

Fisker is recalling the cooling fan unit. Fisker said the recall campaign is not expected to have a material financial impact. The repair will take dealers less than an hour to complete, the company said.

This is the third recall to impact the Karma since December.

The company suffered a setback when Consumer Reports bought a Fisker and it died soon after. Fisker issued a recall for the first 240 Fisker Karma vehicles in December to address coolant leaks that could have led to a battery fire.

In March, Fisker's battery supplier, A123, agreed to replace about 600 batteries in Karma sedans at a cost of $55 million after it said it found manufacturing flaws...

"Didn't the Chevrolet Volt have some 'hot' issues of its own?" you ask.

Oh, yes, it did.  Seems that some of them were catching on fire and burning homes down.

You can read more about it here:    Two Birds :  One Stone

"So, um, what's the bottom line?"

Our new friend, Tony P., will be doing at Fisker EXACTLY what he did at GM - selling a product which very few people actually want, getting paid with proceeds of your tax dollars, AND managing the decline of the brand which he's been chosen to represent.  All while attempting to convice shoppers that lives won't be lost as Volt / Fisker vehicles burn while they sleep.

"That's a major sales job, right?"

It's a HUGE sales job, made possible by your tax dollars, and your friends in Congress.

"Is there any good news out there regarding GM lately?  How's our investment going there?  Did we get that money repaid yet?"

[Silence]

[Silence]

"WELL?!?!"

You want the truth?

"I expect the truth, yes."

Okay, here goes...

Jalopnik.com reports:  GM Recalls 413,418 Chevy Cruzes Because They Might Burst Into Flames

Chevrolet is on fire this year, literally. After a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation into Chevy Volt battery fires, the bowtie is in the hot seat again, this time for its so far much lauded 2011 and 2012 Cruze models.

There's a problem with the engine cover where if oil leaks onto the hot exhaust pipe, the plastic cover catches fire. Chevrolet, eager to hang on to its recent J.D. Power & Associates award for build quality, issued a recall for 413,418 cars, encouraging Cruze owners to avoid fiery death and have the problem fixed for free at any Chevrolet service center.

AND,

Huffington Post, August 13, 2012:  U.S. Auto Bailout Will Cost Billions More Than Previously Thought: Treasury

WASHINGTON, Aug 13 (Reuters) - The U.S. Treasury Department has said the auto industry bailout will cost taxpayers $3.4 billion more than previously thought.

Treasury now estimates the 2009 bailout will eventually cost the government $25.1 billion, according to a report sent to Congress on Friday.

That is up from the last quarterly estimate of $21.7 billion.

Have a nice week folks, and please, if you're driving a Chevrolet or Fisker product...

Park outside, and far from any combustible materials.

Heavy Metal

Lead Aspirins for seniors?

January 2012:  Residents of Leesburg, Florida were shocked to see their local Social Security office turned into a random Homeland Security checkpoint Tuesday morning, as DHS officers armed with semiautomatic rifles and accompanied by sniffer dogs checked identifications of locals.

Thomas Milligan, district manager for the Social Security Administration office, said staff were not informed their offices were about to be stormed by armed FPS officers.

DHS officials refused to answer questions asked by local media and left with no explanation at noon.

March 2012:  The Department of Homeland Security purchases 450 Million Rounds of .40-caliber hollow point bullets over the next five years.

The high performance HST bullets are designed for law enforcement and ATK (the contract winner) says they offer "optimum penetration for terminal performance."

This refers to the the bullet's hollow-point tip that passes through barriers and expands for a bigger impact without the rest of the bullet getting warped out of shape: "this bullet holds its jacket in the toughest conditions."  [Moos Note:  In your rib cage?]

August 2012:  The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) orders 46,000 Rounds of Ammunition.
[Moos Note:  OMG!  They are going to shoot the Whales...  The WHALES!!!]

August 2012:  The Social Security Administration requests bids for 174,000 rounds of .357 hollow point bullets.

R.K. Campbel at Gun Blast mentions his experience with .357 rounds:

I observed the effect of the .357 Magnum 125 grain JHP once over the top of my own sights. The effect was gruesome.  A solid hit that produced a severe blood flow AND dramatic effect from the rear, including lung tissue thrown perhaps three feet.

August 2012:  The Department of Homeland Security increases its original ammunition order from 450 Million Rounds to 750 Million Rounds for 'Training Purposes'.

As I sit here, Saturday morning, I think about which chore to do first: Finish this post?  Wash the dogs?  Mow the lawn?  Re-sort my sock drawer?

I wonder.

I wonder WHY all the reports lately of government agencies purchasing HUGE quantities of ammunition in 2012?  Didn't the government already HAVE ammunition pretty much 'lying around'?

The weapons didn't ALL go to Mexico, did they?

I wonder WHO is responsible for all these purchasing decisions in 2012?  AND if these munitions are truly for 'training purposes'...  Sooooo, what's up with the 'Hollow-Point' bullets?

Wouldn't regular ammo be cheaper to use for target practice while aiming at paper 'whales' (oblique NOAA reference) on the rifle range?

I wonder WHEN the Administration plans to implement its 3:1 Solution?  (Federal Agencies, as referenced above, have purchased roughly three bullets PER American Year-to-Date)

I wonder who, within the Obama Administration, decided that when planning for a mock terror exercise in America that using TEA Party folks would be a good model for the planned action?  For more, read:   Military Planning for a TEA Party Insurrection

I wonder when, exactly, I became a Right Wing Extremist, according to the Department of Homeland Security?

The extreme far-right is composed of groups that believe that one’s personal and/or national “way of life” is under attack and is either already lost or that the threat is imminent (for some the threat is from a specific ethnic, racial, or religious group), and believe in the need to be prepared for an attack either by participating in paramilitary preparations and training or survivalism.

Groups may also be fiercely nationalistic (as opposed to universal and international in orientation), anti-global, suspicious of centralized federal authority, reverent of individual liberty, and believe in conspiracy theories that involve grave threat to national sovereignty and/or personal liberty. (Italics added)

If you’re fiercely nationalistic (pro-American), anti-global (anti-UN), suspicious of centralized federal authority (like the Framers), reverent of individual liberty (like Patrick Henry), and believe in “conspiracy” theories (like the federal government allowing the sale of assault weapons to Mexican drug cartels to justify limiting American’s rights under the Second Amendment, a la Fast and Furious), then according to these taxpayer-funded researchers, you too are on the “extreme right-wing.” Many Americans would be surprised to find themselves so categorized by the researchers at START.

It should be no surprise that two subgroups identified in the codebook under “extreme right-wing” include “gun rights” and “tax protest.” Tea Party terrorists, anyone?

Above excerpt from: PJ Tatler
I wonder what kind of world will my kids will inherit from me and what I, personally, could have done differently for them?

I wonder why 49 million Americans are on food stamps today, twice the number of four years ago?

I wonder why the USDA is encouraging MORE Americans to be dependent upon government for their 'Daily Bread'?

I wonder why we're putting corn in our gas tanks when people are going hungry because of this summer's drought?

I wonder how President Obama's most-loyal supporters will behave when he's tossed out of office in November?

I wonder who those bullets are for?  Are they to be the Social Security Administration's answer to balancing their budget?

I wonder a lot more than I used to.

Yes I do.

As a matter of fact, right now I'm wondering where the dog shampoo went in that hall closet.

And I wonder if this post is officially over?

Well, maybe, for now.

Dope and Chains

Barack Obama - Joe Biden
Four More Years?

I thought of something as I was driving to an appointment earlier today.  It came to me in a flash.  I even wrote it down on a scrap of paper on the seat next to me.

It's the new slogan for the Obama - Biden 2012 ticket.

Free of charge, no strings attached.  It is my gift to them - after all, they've given this country so MUCH over the past 3+ years.

That slogan?

Dope and Chains

Rather than run (on as I normally do), I'll just sit back quietly and chuckle to myself...

AND

Have a nice night folks...

[Note to self:  Buy Nucorp stock tomorrow.  They have something to do with making steel, and something tells me that business will be booming following the 2012 election.  Well, unless Joe Biden's either lying, or incompetent.  Ah, never mind, one is as likely as the other.]

If Mitt Romney Killed the Nice Lady with Cancer... Then...

Yet Another Defining Moment:

If / Then:  In computer science, conditional statements, conditional expressions and conditional constructs are features of a programming language which perform different computations or actions depending on whether a programmer-specified boolean condition evaluates to true or false.

Apart from the case of branch predication, this is always achieved by selectively altering the control flow based on some condition.

In essence, when writing computer programs, you write tasks for the program to 'execute' based upon certain assumptions within the program.  It is the logic of the program and the input variables which determine the end product of the progam's execution...

For example,

Where e is any numeric expression (not necessarily an integer); this is equivalent to

IF (e .LT. 0) GOTO label1
IF (e .EQ. 0) GOTO label2
IF (e .GT. 0) GOTO label3

In programming a computer, you rely on raw logic to determine what happens once a defined condition is met.  Then, you take the next step, then the next, then the next, then, well, you get the idea...  Until you get to the final output of the program.

These conditional steps parrot 'logic' found within the human brain.  Computer logic, at its core, is no more than a series of '0's and '1's, or 'Yes' and 'No's within the software's encoding.

IF you actually write computer code for a living - I apologize.  I haven't written computer code since my Fortran class at LIU CW Post Center back in 1979.

(IF you write, or have written, code for a living, you already knew this...)

IF we apply general programming code to current events, THEN we can by extension of logic, determine other OUTPUTS worthy of discussion - right?

The IF's and THEN's of Presidential Politics (2012):

IF Mitt Romney is responsible for the death of Mrs. Soptic because Romney was once associated with Bain Capital...

THEN, according to the Obama PAC, and mainstream media outlets, Mitt Romney is directly responsible for her death via his association with Bain Capital (even though he was physically 'gone' at the time)

........................................................................

IF according to the Obama PAC, and mainstream media outlets, it is 'fair' to say that your association with a group makes you culpable for their actions years after you end your association...

THEN, you (Mitt Romney) are not worthy to be President via your association with Bain.

........................................................................

IF someone dies, whether you were physically involved in the 'death' directly, or not...

THEN, you, Mitt Romney, are guilty of murder. (According to the Obama Administration's refusal to back away from the Obama-Staff founded Priorities USA PAC)

........................................................................

More Uncomfortable IF's and THEN's:

IF someone (Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid) openly supports / encourages members of organizations which are dedicated to racial hatred, division, and militancy...

“The most important thing we can do right now is those of us in leadership letting people know that we understand their struggles and we are on their side, and that we want to set up a system in which hard work, responsibility, doing what you’re supposed to do, is rewarded,” Obama tells ABC News.

“And that people who are irresponsible, who are reckless, who don’t feel a sense of obligation to their communities and their companies and their workers that those folks aren’t rewarded.”

The president also compares the protesters to the Tea Party. “In some ways, they’re not that different from some of the protests that we saw coming from the Tea Party," Obama says. "Both on the left and the right, I think people feel separated from their government. They feel that their institutions aren’t looking out for them.”  -- Barack Obama, October 18, 2011

........................................................................
During a press conference Thursday afternoon, House minority leader Nancy Pelosi praised those participating in the "Occupy Wall Street" protests. "God bless them," Pelosi said, "for their spontaneity.

It's independent ... it's young, it's spontaneous, and it's focused. And it's going to be effective."  Nancy Pelosi, October 6, 2011

........................................................................
“In recent days, Republicans showed new interest in the gulf between rich and poor that has motivated thousands to occupy parks across the country and make their voices heard.

Apparently they believe the staggering income inequality makes a good talking point,” Reid said on the Senate floor. “While Democrats fight for jobs for the middle class, Republicans fight for tax breaks for the 1 percent of Americans who don't need our help.”  Harry Reid, October 31, 2011

........................................................................
THEN, by extension of the logic found above - President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid, are each responsible for the shootings at a Sikh Temple in Wisconsin as equally as Mitt Romney is for the death of Mrs. Soptic.

Each gave explicit support to organizations and individuals known for their extremist beliefs.  They encouraged an environment in which hate could flourish against specific citizens, specific religions, and specific geographic areas of our Nation providing inspiration to lunatics.

Each helped sow the field for the despicable harvest which follows below:

Say 'Hello' to the American Nazi Party (It too, agrees with President Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid)...

Racial Comrades: I am going to address the issue of this "Occupy Wall Street" fervor that has been sweeping the land like a breath of cleansing air!

This issue is TAYLOR MADE for National Socialists, as well as WN who are serious about DOING SOMETHING - MORE - than shouting "racial slurs" and acting like "poster boys of hate" loons.

After all - JUST WHO - are the WALL STREET BANKERS? The vast majority are JEWS - and the others are SPIRITUAL JEW materialists, who would sell their own mother's gold teeth for a PROFIT. And MORE and MORE people are AWARE of this truth, are not only NOT afraid to TALK ABOUT IT - they're shouting it on WALL STREET!

I urgently URGE all of you to TAKE PART and JOIN IN when these protests hit your neck of the woods. Produce some flyers EXPLAINING the "JEW BANKER" influence - DON'T wear anything marking you as an "evil racist" - and GET OUT THERE and SPREAD the WORD!

Put as a "contact point" on your literature, our www.ANP14.com address - it won't immediately "scare off" some of these scaredy-cats for even looking at our FACTS - for FACTS they ARE!

If you are unable to produce your own leaflets - check out the "support" section of our website - there are a LOT of good flyers there to utilize.

For White Worker Power! Hail Victory! 88!

Then, OAK CREEK, Wis. – Few can know what goes through the twisted mind of a mass killer, but Wade Michael Page left behind plenty of signs that he was consumed by one thing: hate.

Page, 40, was identified by police Monday as the gunman who killed six worshipers Sunday morning at a Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, Wis. Local and federal authorities said they were investigating whether the shooting was an act of domestic terrorism.

The bald, heavy man decorated in tattoos and shot dead in an exchange with police played in hate bands and used hate-filled heavy-metal music to recruit white supremacists to the cause. Page played at gatherings around the country including Hammerfest, the biggest festival of the obscure neo-Nazi genre, the "Lollapalooza of hate," according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.  USA Today.com, August 8, 2012

If Mitt Romney is to be blamed for the death of a cancer patient by President Obama's PAC - can the President of the United States, former Speaker of the House, and President of the Senate siding with people who actually kill people be held accountable as well?

I wonder.
